7/18/2011 ONE MONTH TO GO!!
This week was pretty good from what I remember haha I have a really hard time trying to remember whats what and what was when. The best part of this week though I would have to say would be church yesterday, it was awesome there were investigators all over the place it was awesome! We found a really great family this week and we taught them a really spiritual plan of salvation and they loved it. They came to church yesterday and really loved the people, the members here are really good at introducing themselves and making the investigators feel welcome and at home. The kids loved primary and they didn’t want to leave, so they are excited for next Sunday. There is also a really awesome convert in this ward that is just on fire! She shares the gospel with everyone that she possibly can and gives us a lot of really awesome referrals, well she brought a couple of her friends to church yesterday and they loved it too. One of them was actually talking to her quite a bit about the church and she wants to know more and was even asking about baptism so we are really excited to see what happens with that. Well I wish I had more time haha and I could remember more to put in here but Greenwood Is good I love it here. Hope yall are having a good week.

Hey Yall,
This week was a pretty good week I think, I always have a hard time remembering what happened on Mondays when I write these letters haha. We had a leadership training meeting this week up in Columbia that was pretty good, we got to meet the Georgia Zone leaders and district leaders. They have an interesting way of doing things but it was really good to see and learn from them some different approaches and stuff. President Holm is really cool I like him a lot, he changed a few things so we do things a little differently than we did with President McConkie, basically how it says in Pmg is how we do it so dinner has to be done by six o clock. Oh ya we have to get 210 contacts a week now but its kinda cool because we focus alot on just opening your mouth everywhere like Elder Williams and I got 30 contacts the other day and didnt knock on a single door. We are supposed to strive to get 8 member refferals a week. He was challenged by the brethren i think specifically Elder Holland to double baptisms so we are doing like everything we can to do it. I really like the way he does things he wants to get out and work with us as much as possible.
I wish I had more time haha and could remember more to tell you but theres a little something for yall I love you and appreciate all the love and support.
Love,
Elder Adam Fitzgerald

Hey Yall,
I probably say this a little too much but man does time really fly by, I cannot even believe it most of the time. Well the 4th was kind of fun haha you cant have too much fun as a missionary but we made the most of what we could do. We played a good game of basketball in the morning, and then went over to sister Gambles house to work on our quilts. Which mine is coming along quite nicely I must say, I never really thought I would make a quilt like that but its actually pretty cool to come up with something and make it yourself. After we went and worked on our quilts we went to a bbq that a member invited us to, it was fun haha but everybody was in the pool and stuff and so that was a little weird but it was cool. You gotta love a good ol southern cookout!
There were a lot of people gone for church this last Sunday which kind of stunk but it was a really great meeting. It was one of the most spiritual sacrament meetings I have been to in a long time. Everybody was just really bearing heartfelt testimonies, there is a lot of love in this ward its really great. Sister Gamble the member we go and quilt with she has been in bad health for a while and she was able to make it with her less active son and it was so great to see them there. One of the recent converts of about a month got up and bore her testimony it was so powerful, she is just on fire she has already given us so many referrals, she is an amazing member she shares the gospel with everyone and its so awesome!!! Haha she Is showing the long time members how its done.
We got to meet our new mission president this past Thursday, he and his wife are awesome! I am way excited to see how things are going to go, they are really young and have a lot of enthusiasm and great ideas. I wish that I was able to stay longer to be able to work with him more, but I guess you are called for when you are called for a reason. Missionary work is the bomb take every chance you get to share the gospel you will see the blessings in others lives and in your own. I wish I had more time but we have got to go out to McCormick today which is about a 45 minute drive to go see one of our investigators I hope it goes well. Thanks for all your love and support have a good week.
Love,
Elder Fitzgerald
