"Howdy hey from SC" - Letter from Adam 10/26/2009

Here are some snippets from Adam's letter to his family (posted by David).

"Hey things are going pretty good out here. We have found some new people that we are teaching and hopefully we can get them to progress to baptism. We don’t have much time to email because we took another p-day Thursday to go do service we got to go and push old people from a retirement home around the fair it was pretty cool. Old people are way funny the lady I was with bought a corn dog four
carmel apples and this big cup of fries and she had me put vinegar and salt on them for her. Haha I have some pics of the fair, they even had a booth that sold pretty much deep fried everything I thought that was funny."

"You don’t have to worry about me im doing great there is no way im coming home even if I got hurt and they made me I would be back out asap! Elder Smart was telling me that pres and him were talking and both of them think that Im going to be a leader and that I need to start preparing myself to be one its kinda crazy but if its what im supposed to do I will do it. We are doing this 40 day fast thing and we fasted and made a list of all the things we need to improve on  and we are going to do it for fourty days and we are really hoping that will help us to have the spirit a lot stronger so that we can baptize this transfer."

Adam talks about all of the friends and family that have written him and then thanks them:  "I am so thankful for all the love and support that I have please tell all of them thanks for me. I love all you guys so much thanks for all your support."

Love,
Elder Fitzgerald
