We got a letter from Adam Today! Becky has been getting very anxious because she hadn't heard anything from Adam for a week or so. LOL. Here is a summary and a few quotes from his letter:
He says he is kind of getting used to the MTC. They keep them very busy doing stuff so the days seem kind of long but the week flew by. He got his flight plans and leaves this coming Monday. He leaves the MTC at 4 in the morning. He has a stop over at Cincinnati for just over an hour, then they fly to Columbia South Carolina.
Half of his district is going to South Carolina, the other half is going to Alaska. He says his companion kind of keeps to himself, but he is good friends with his whole district.
He talks about how good the food is and how they can eat all they want (LOL). He says he hasn't weighed himself to see if he has gained any weight from the MTC food.
He says he really appreciates receiving mail. He says, "It is a good day when you get a letter", so everyone write him.
He then wrote a section to each of his siblings:
He told Josh the he trusts him and told him he can use any of his stuff he wants, but to be careful with it.
He told Katie how glad he was that she made the team, and said he knows she will do great.
He thanked Meghan for stashing a surprise gift and note in his luggage before he left.
He says, "I also just want you to know that I know without a doubt this is the Lord's work that I get the opportunity to do."
He tells josh to start preparing and studying now. He says "Pray to know it's true for yourself. Study & pray about Joseph smith. I know he truly was a prophet & an amazing man. Prepare now, it will help you so much. Pray often. I know Heavenly Father loves to hear from us & answers our prayers. I have never prayed & felt the spirit so often as I have here." -David
