Letter home 11/09/09

Haha I am way excited that logan did good on his talk I am so happy that he is going. I really hope that he keeps a good attitude and sticks everything out he will make a great missionary. I don’t know how anybody could ever regret going on a mission if they serve the way that they are supposed too. Its pretty sad one of my friends that was in the Mtc with me doesn’t like it and he wants to go home. We were in the mission office the other
day and I saw him there with his bags all packed. He was going in to talk to pres. And I talked to his companion and he said this is the third time that he has met with pres. So I think that he probably went home this time which is just way sad  he will always look back and regret not sticking it out no matter how hard it is sometimes! That is way cool that Alana did that for him she is so awesome. She was definitely one of my favorite teachers she is way nice. Haha I can’t believe chad would say that I gave him my address so he could write me. I have no way of writing him because I don’t have his address not to mention I hardly have any time but if you see him tell him to write me and ill write him back. As far as him serving a mission he says he wants to and I really hope he does but I don’t know. How is Richie doing that’s another one we gotta get out here it would just give him so much needed direction in his life you cant gain the experience and knowledge and blessings you get out here from anywhere but a mission.

Haha can you really notice that I have gained weight? Haha I weigh a little over 180 pounds now haha so yes I have gained like fifteen pounds. I am just really hoping that I don’t get to fat. We get fed pretty good we have a member dinner just about every night and they almost always have desert and everything for us haha so that’s why im gaining weight.

We have a family from Brazil we are working with the husband was a member but they lost his records so we get to rebaptize him and we are teaching his wife and hopefully they can get baptized together. Other than them are aren’t teaching anybody way solid but we are working hard to find more people to teach so hopefully we will soon. I know that as we are striving to do our best that the lord will bless us and we can see success.

That’s way cool about that family a good idea to fellowship with them is to have a family home evening and dinner or something and invite them over so that you can get to know them and stuff. That reminds me we had a missionary fireside with our ward last night that went really good. We talked about stuff like that and what members need to do to be missionaries because we are all supposed to be missionaries as members. It went way good the spirit was way strong a lot of them were crying and stuff thinking of things that they could do to be missionaries. It is awesome because our ward mission leader is a convert of about four years and he has such a strong testimony he is awesome. He does a lot to help out and further missionary work in the ward. So I would challenge you guys all to pray for ways you can be missionaries every little way you can. Its just like the theme of our fireside “by small and simple things are great things brought to pass” I know you have been a great example to me. And I know you can be a great example and blessing in others lives as you search for ways to serve and be missionaries. I love you guys so much you are such a great parents and I am so blessed to be your son. Thanks for your great example especially dad serving a mission it helped me so much to have that example and now I get to be the example for Josh.
