Letter 1/19/10

Things down here in Walterboro are about the same. Haha it is way southern down here. There is a lot of poverty and stuff because there is just not that much buisiness and stuff down here. Oh ya there have also been quite a few shooting down here im not sure exactly how many but there have been a lot of drive by shootings and stuff so that is pretty reasuring huh? Haha not to scare you
or anything we havent ran into any problems or anything like that yet. Haha oh ya the other night at our apartment complex some little kid pulled the fire alarm and the fire truck and cops and stuff showed up it was kinda crazy but pretty funny at the same time. Oh ya and when we were leaving our apartment this morning three cop cars came rushing in but I don’t know what for I guess I might figure that out later. Man the little branch here is struggling quite a bit though they don’t have many people to do hardly anything I have already had to pass the sacrament and bless it and last Sunday I had to give a talk, then we went to priesthood with the three young men and the branch president haha and im teaching that class next week and then after I got picked to teach next week I also got picked to say the prayer. Haha so we are just already doing all kinds of things in this little branch. I guess that it was pretty big branch actually almost a ward like two years ago. But right now almost everybody is inactive.  We are teaching a couple of people one guy we are going to see again today he is really cool but he has cancer and is in bad shape so it would be awesome if he could be baptized right before he passes away. We are teaching another guy who is a baptist and is scared to leave it.
