Howdy Ho All a Yaaall,
This week has been a pretty good week for us. The Zone Leaders Elder Kailiponi and Elder Redston came up with this little game to help our zone to get going and do better this transfer because we only had 4 baptisms in the entire zone last transfer. So the
competition they came up with is kind of like a tournament where you have the brackets and what not. And the point system is new investigators is a point and then member present lessons are a point and church attendance is 2 points and baptisms are 4 points and this week we were facing the sisters and we won so that was way sweet! Haha at first it was kind of of close but they couldn’t keep up at the end. We ended up with 35 points which was way sweet we were pretty stoked. We were supposed to have a baptism yesterday but some things came up and so we are working those things out and we are going to have one soon enough. We had 5 Peeps at church this Sunday so that was way sweet. The only thing that sucks about that is that they aren’t really anybody we were planning on having there they all backed out on us. But it’s all good we taught them in gospel principles and we are hopefully going keep teaching them. One of the ones that was at church was a lady who is visiting a member here from Georgia and she is being taught there by missionaries and so we taught her and actually challenged her to pray about and be baptized on the 8th of may so then we got to call the elders in Georgia and let them now. They were pretty excited she has been investigating for like six months now and so hopefully she will get baptized. She knows that it is true she is just holding herself back. Oh ya and when we were talking to those elders in Georgia one of the kids I went to school with is there and so they knew him and they are going to tell him hi for me I thought that was pretty cool. Oh ya and at church yesterday we had 2 miracles I am way excited for one of the counselors in the bishopric waves us over and one of the girls in the ward, her friend has been coming to mutual for a while and really likes it. So she told the girl in our ward and her parents she wants to be baptized so we are going to teach her and hopefully set that up soon. And then the bishop waves me over and there is another member who has a friend who wants to be baptized so we are going to teach her this week. We have a way sick week planned for this week. Our teaching pool is really big and we have Aton of potential for a lot of baptisms we just have to teach a ton and line things up. But I am way excited to see what we can do down here I really love this area it is AWESOME. I am way excited to see how well our district does at the end of this transfer because if we get 8 baptisms between us then we get a night at the mission home. It is definitely possible too I’m stoked. I am also stoked to be able to do a baptismal interview for the Zone leader’s investigators which should be happening this week. Oh and I almost forgot I am way stoked about the meetings we get to go to not this weekend but the one after that. Elder Anderson from the quorum of the 12 is coming here and having a special conference for the missionaries. And then on Sunday Elder Gonzales is coming and we get to go to Columbia to hear him too. So we should be able to have an awesome week we have some high goals set for ourselves and we should get them so im excited. Anyways love you guys hope all is well.
