Hey Yall!!!
This week we had some very special guests to the South Carolina Columbia Mission. Elder and Sister Sabrowsky came this last week, it was really cool to be able to see and meet with them. We were lucky enough to meet with them on Tuesday with all of the rest of the zone leaders and discuss some different things that are happening in the mission. It was really cool because
before he came all of us had taken a survey from Salt Lake. So all he had with him was a few charts and things from that survey that we had taken and some different numbers from the mission. He hadn’t prepared anything to talk on or anything, he met with us as the zone leaders to discuss things and to be led by the spirit to know what he needed to address the mission on. Its amazing how he could just come in with nothing and talk and train us for hours on things we really need to really get the work going here. They were so nice and fun to talk to and listen to, we all really enjoyed it. They said that they were pretty impressed with the zone leaders and the mission so we felt pretty good about that. Haha that would be pretty bad if he thought we weren’t very good. But on Thursday we were able to have our Zone conference, we met with the Charleston zone in Sumter. It was a really good meeting, haha me and Elder Smart really got put on the spot though. It was good for us but it made us pretty nervous. He had us up front with a white board and had us take the names of the people that our zone was working with and so we did and he asked us who was struggling so we gave him a few names and the missionaries that were teaching them came up and he asked if they would like help and of course they said they did he asked who else would be good to help and who else. He really made us feel like a team, he explained how we have so many good resources to work with and how we don’t really use them. In our mission on average we find about 350 new investigators a week and out of all of those we only baptize about 10- 15 of them and he says that we lose way too many people that we say we are willing to do anything to baptize them but that we are will to do everything we can to truly help them receive the gospel. It was really good, he called it the doctrine of everything. So we are really working to do everything that we can to help all of our investigators be baptized.

It is really crazy how fast time flies, I feel like I just barely got here to Florence with Elder Cowan. Its now 3 months later and I don’t know where the time went. Its crazy that it is already time for transfers again. We got all the transfer info on Saturday night and man did it surprise us. Haha turns out that me and Elder Smart are going to be moving but the really crazy part is that we are still going to be companions but we are going to be in a threesome with another missionary. Our new area is going to be Myrtle Beach, we are making that the new zone leader area and there will be a new missionary training a fresh greenie here in Florence. Elder Smart is very excited to go down to Myrtle Beach because it was his first area. Haha he spent 8 months down there and that is probably be his last area so in total he will spend a whole year down there. Im really excited to meet the Ward I have heard so much about them. The Ward mission leader Is way excited and says that he has some really sweet stuff in store for us. Its going to be awesome we are going to see some really great things happen there. I think we will be able to baptize a lot of people down there. Well I think that does it for my week this week. I hope everyone is well. Thanks for you love and support.
Love,
Elder Adam Fitzgerald
