Hey Yall
This has been a pretty good week here in Union. We had an amazing baptism for Brother Philip Landreth, I'm sure I have talked about him but he is amazing. We knocked on his door Elder Mears and my first day here in Union. We had a few minutes before our dinner appt. so we parked on the road and made the long walk up his driveway and knocked on his door. He invited us in and we talked for a few minutes and we left him with a copy of the book of Mormon. We came back about a week and a half later and he had read the whole thing and felt it was scripture from God. We continued to teach him and
he was talking a lot to his mom about it and to his friends and they are pretty against the church, but he recognized they just have been taught the wrong things about the church. Well he was doing great and to make a long story short he was baptized this last Saturday and was confirmed the newest member of the Union Branch on Sunday. He is doing so awesome you can the change in his countenance. President and Sister McConkie were able to attend his baptism with us and felt of his wonderful spirit. President and I were talking and we can see him in the leadership of the branch very soon. He is progressing in the gospel so rapidly it's amazing.

We also had another amazing thing happen here, when we first got here my first Sunday there were maybe about 15 people in attendance including the four of us missionaries. Well we have been really trying to get people to come back so the branch can progress and we had about 40 people there last Sunday. It's amazing. The building was pretty much full. We had a primary, and out of those 40 people 5 of those were investigators. It was so awesome some of the investigators knew some of the members and they loved church it was so awesome. I was scared to come here at first but I am so happy to serve here. The Lord can do some really amazing things and to be here and witness and be a part of them is such a blessing. Our next goal is to unite the branch members in reaching out to all of those who are not coming to get them back and to bring new members with them. The Lords work will go on it is up to us how rapidly it will happen if everyone does what they can amazing things happen. I love the Gospel and know the church is true. Let us all go out and live it and share it. “Shall We not go on in so great a cause” -Joseph Smith
Have a great week Love yall.
Love,
Elder Adam Fitzgerald
