October 5, 2009 Letter home

"Conference was awesome it is amazing how much more I got out of it being out here in the field. Did you guys go to all the sessions? I hope josh and dad went to priesthood session it was way good! It was crazy when they announced the Brigham temple I didn’t think

they would build one in Brigham but that’s way cool. Haha we thought that they were going to announce another one here because there have been a lot of general authorities going to this one part of the mission but I guess not, At least not for now. We did have one of our investigators at conference he liked it but he is hard to work with he has like no motivation he is a really interesting guy. Another one of our gators couldn’t come because she got the swine flu and we were teaching her all week so hopefully we don’t get it. But I’m sure if we were going to get it we would have by now. The assistants actually found a new couple that is in our area so we are going to start teaching them soon so if they are as cool as they say they are we should be able to baptize them and their roommate they live with. Haha oh and I just have to tell you something funny that happened the other day we ring this doorbell and are talking to this guy while he is brushing his teeth it was funny.

Haha what do you want to know about elder smart? He is way cool we get along really good. He is from draper Utah he graduated in 2007. He came out last December; he served in myrtle beach area for about 5 months. He did have a girlfriend before he came out but they decided to stop writing he didn’t get dear johned but sort of I guess. Haha we wrote Chelsea last week and told her to find some girls from byu that he can start to write we have this whole plan worked out it is pretty sweet. He is way smart when it comes to business we talk about doing something together when I get home. He started his own business before he came out and he pretty much ran this bike clothing company for this guy. Haha its crazy all the thing he has done he is way business smart. Before his mission he was making like 4,000 dollars a month! He has made me want to go to school when I get home but I don’t really know where. I don’t know what else you want to know if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Haha I am way excited to have some pictures and stuff from you guys. That way I can actually have some stuff to remember you by.

It is now suit season here now that conference is over so that kind of sucks because it is still pretty hot but if it hits a certain temp we get to take our jackets off and I think ours is even lower than everybody else’s because we are biking elders. Hopefully it will start to kind of cool off more now though. It is actually really rainy today so we have rain coats and umbrellas.

Well I can’t think of to much else besides I love you guys so much and am so thankful for you. You are in my prayers.
