Letter home 12/14/09

Hey everybody,

Now have a new companion it was pretty crazy how it all worked out. But my new companions name is elder Whatcott he is from Colorado and he has been out about 8 months now. He is a really nice kid. The crazy part about being with him is that pres. Assigned me to be the senior companion which is kinda crazy he said that its pretty early for
me but he thinks that I can handle it which I hope I can its kinda crazy. Other than all that madness things are going pretty good I guess, we don’t have anybody way solid for baptism at the moment but we will hopeful have some good people that are going to progress more by the end of the week. We did go over to pretty much the coolest people’s house last night their names are Dora and Oscar and they are Hispanic they are way awesome they want to get baptized way bad they are just waiting on his divorce papers so they can. And her daughter is 20 and she lives with them her name is Anna Karen she was baptized a little over a year ago and she is on fire she loves the church and does everything in it that she can she is awesome. So last night it was elder Johns birthday and they knew mine was the other day so they had dinner and cake and a couple of other members came over and we had like a birthday party it was way awesome! They are the best they even had a cake for us (tres leches) by the way the best! But they got each of us a card and three ties and some candy, it was way sweet! Im looking forward to Christmas we have already had a couple of members offer to have us over but im not sure where we are going yet but it should be good ill let you know how it will work later. Christmas Zone Conference is this Wednesday it should be pretty awesome everybody says its way cool last year they got to watch the other side of heaven and they have a talent show and stuff it should be pretty awesome.
