This week was pretty good i guess. Ha-ha I can’t really think of to much that happened but I will try its kind of nice being in the ghetto ha-ha because we teach a lot of people that way. The only thing that sucks about it is that a lot of them don’t progress and keep commitments and stuff. We are in a pretty crazy city, I thought that Walterboro was pretty bad I think Orangeburg is worse I was talking to one elder who served here and he said that he had three guns pulled on him. Ha-ha I’m not sure how true that is but
it’s pretty crazy, We haven’t had anything really crazy like that happen but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did, this is a pretty crazy place. A lot of the lower class people are more willing to talk to us and let us in to teach them so that is good we get new investigators that way but it doesn’t do to good when they don’t progress. Another thing that is pretty nice is that we can get our contacts for the day really quickly by just walking around and talking to people because a lot of people just hang out outside. Oh man I did learn a pretty cool fact at our Zone Conference last week. President had a list of all the states and how religious they were and the first on the list was Mississippi and second was Utah ha-ha and then third was South Carolina. So I though that was kind of crazy you here about the Bible belt we have got like the most of it. Ha-ha we are in the midst of the MOST and some of the craziest other religions and stuff. This is like the Southern Baptist capitol of the world I swear. They are very nice most of them but they are all like “I have a church that I’m very active in” which is way annoying over and over again. I cant wait for that vision of the south that Von J Featherstone prophesied comes true. When they all start to turn away and realize their teachings are off and they start looking for the truth. Man I cant believe that Elder Neerings is going home at the end of march its so weird it feels like that will never happen like you just stay a missionary forever. Another crazy thing is that a whole bunch of the other missionaries that I know are leaving to. We are getting so many new missionaries lately that President was saying we are starting to be a very young mission. He said that 1 out of 4 missionaries has been out less than four months and I think 1 in a 3 has been out less than six months or something like that. We are teaching quite a few people we have narrowed it down to about four that have a pretty good potential of getting baptized so we will hopefully baptize at least one before Elder Neerings goes home. Anyways I can’t think of to much more I can say so I guess I will leave it at that. I love all you guys.
