Hey everybody,
This week has gone by pretty quickly, Haha man I don’t even remember everything that we did. We did teach a few pretty cool people this week, so that is always good. The only thing that is really hard is getting these people to church. Haha I swear that is that hardest thing about missionary work Is getting them to come to church. We did have 2 at church luckily but they came with other members everybody we invited didn’t
make it which really sucks but what can ya do right there is always next week. Oh ya except next week is going to be even harder because we are having church In Columbia next week because elder Gonzalez one of the seventies is coming im way excited about that I heard that he is really cool. This Saturday we are also having a special Zone conference because elder Anderson of the quorum of the 12 is coming so I am way stoked to hear from him its going to be way tight! I had my very first District meeting this week, it turned out to be really good I was praying that it would and it did. It was a good spiritual boost for us all. Oh ya one of the people that came to church this Sunday is related to sister Keller and so we taught her yesterday and she is going to be baptized on may 8th which is going to be way sweet. Sis Keller is a master member missionary haha when she has us teach someone at her house they are pretty much guaranteed to be baptized. The only hold up of the lady who is living with her now is smoking but we talked about the stop smoking packet and she committed to quit haha after the last pack which she just bought yesterday. I told her it was only going to work if she was 100% committed and so she said she was this was the last pack. We are going to teach her again on Wednesday and we are going to make sure everything Is good to go with that. She will do great she really loved church and that is always good. We do have a pretty good week planned for this week. We have a few friends of members that are we are hopefully going to teach this week. Man member work is by far the best way to do missionary work. When you have a good ward that is willing to share the gospel and is not afraid to bring people to church and stuff it is the golden place for missionaries. We have a thing coming up in two weeks that is called the rose festival it is like peach days I think. Our ward is getting a booth to hand out stuff on the church and we get to go and talk to people all day and get referrals and stuff so I am really looking forward to that. We should be able to teach aton of people and get peoples attention about the church. We taught haha well sort of taught a Jehovahs witness this week. We went up and started to contact him and it didn’t take long before I knew. So we left him a book of mormon and our number and low and behold he calls us like 15 minutes later and says that we can come back. So we knew that it could only be one of two things, he either wanted to bash or he really was interested and of course we hope he was interested. But we went and he just wanted to not really bash but question and prove us wrong or something. So we just had a good little talk and I don’t know my bible to well or I really could have proved him wrong but I think I did leave him with some good questions. So its to bad he wouldn’t read the book of mormon though before we left we bore good testimony but he said he would stick to his bible, Oh well his loss I guess we tried. Well that’s pretty much my week I hope all is well. Oh ya and anybody that reads this please feel free to write me I do love getting mailJ Haha seriously anyways I love you guys and hope all is well.
