2/21/11

This week was a good week but at the same time it was kind of a slow week. It was really good because Elder Posey and his wife came to visit us yesturday at church. He is our area authority of all of South Carolina, and Georgia and North Carolina, He heard of all the wonderful things and the growth that has been happening so he came to encourage the members and leave a blessing on the branch. It was really awesome and everybody was excited, we had 43 people there which is
pretty good, we are hoping that things will continue to increase and grow.

Something pretty funny that happened this week was we had a pretty big spill in our kitchen. haha we were making some spaghetti and Elder Hahn took the lid off of the sauce and thought that he put it on tighter but when he went to shake it up the lid popped off and we had sauce everywhere it was a big time mess! Haha it got all over the walls and the floor and even our pants and shirts it was crazy. So we had to do alot of clean up and washing of the clothes and try to get the stains out of our clothes and stuff.

Phil had to have surgery this week but he is recovering very well. His mother is staying with him and she is a really nice lady and we have been visiting with her quite a bit. She is reading the book of Mormon and Phil is teaching her about the church, she has been watching some church movies and stuff. She came to church and she liked it haha she said she doesnt believe this is the only true church, she is baptist but she really liked church though. She is happy that Phil has found the church and that it is making a good difference in his life. Its so awesome to see how good he is doing and how much joy and happiness into his life. He was saying yesturday that he is so happy that he found the church and that there are good people who are willing to help one another in Christs church.

Transfers are coming up this next week so i will find out this saturday if i am staying or if i am going so i will let ya know next week whether i am staying or going.

Love,
Elder Adam Fitzgerald
